Full "Tealt" With Cinnamon Teal

Yesterday morning I came across a sight that made me stop and really look at something from an entirely different perspective. Cinnamon Teal can be found in almost any water hole in Utah County during the summer months. It doesn't take long to get used to seeing them. Sometimes we simply note them without giving them much of an observation--make a note and move on, so to speak. Yesterday, however, a pair was relatively close to the road and didn't seem to mind that my truck had stopped or that I was observing them from the driver's side window. I rolled down the window, propped my bean bag on the door, and positioned my lens and camera on the bean bag for stability. I guess you could say it was full "tealt" for this lovely pair. I captured the following series of images with an emphasis on seeing parts of a teal not normally seen. Some of the images would work well for a photo quiz to identify the species without seeing the head.
